Substandard road pavemetn

Reported via desktop in the Damaged road category by Jamie Fitzpatrick at 14:22, Monday 19 April 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

On Maiden Erlegh Avenue, the existing road surface is deteriorating from small cracks up to large potholes. This has the potential to cause damage to vehicles driving along and/or members of the public crossing the road. the road itself is constructed of concrete which would suggest it is the original road surface and not of current industry standards. this road requires a compliant road surface to be placed. the full length of Maiden Erlegh Avenue requires resurfacing. in the last two months I have had two punctures due to the road surface and I have witnessed people crossing the road and tripping. Is there a strategy for this area as i have noticed that the surrounding roads have had road works recently.
