Roundabout restrictions and disrepair

Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 11:51, Friday 9 April 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2661885.

Hello The roundabout on Sutcliffe Road is in state of disrepair. This is mainly due to the fact that it is too big and vehicles hit it, knocking the stones over. In the past two weeks, two vehicles have hit the roundabout and knocked chunks off. Whilst it's great to have a green bit in the middle, it is too large and restricts space. Drivers of large vehicles sometimes drive through on the wrong side of the road in order to get through, which presents a danger to other drivers and pedestrians crossing the road. I think the roundabout needs to be made smaller, repaired and propper signage added. The other option is to restrict large vehicles from entering the road. Thank you and regards.

  • There are lots of roads people think are one way ( one example is Harland AVE Sidcup ) even the police assume it's one way that often rive up it not keeping to the left hand side of the road , just to be awkward I drove towards them they threaten to prosecute me for coming down a one way street on the wrong side I pointed out it's two way 30 min later after realising there mistake they drove off
