Thameswater has recently repaired a water leak on the road which involved digging up the road. The road was temporarily closed to traffic during the repairs. The road is now open to traffic. However the road is in a state with building sand and small stones and pebbles on the road surface, which Thameswater contracts have failed to make tidy.
This is dangerous as stones can be knocked into the air as vehicles drive over hit pedestrians. The sand on road can also cause potential risk of cars not stopping immediately when braking.
The road needs a proper sweep up to reduce the risks stated above.
