Temporary barriers and signs being dislodged
Reported via desktop in the Damaged pavement category anonymously at 12:34, Wed 3 March 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2584196.
Barriers and signs put around hole and dislodged kerb stone caused by tree removal in December 2020.
The barriers are in themselves a hazard, partially blocking the pavement and road. They have not prevented the foxes from digging in the stump hole. Debris from the hole is often strewn over the pavement and road.
How long will it be before repairs are undertaken?

1st reported to Council 19.12.20. Barriers put up promptly. Still no repair on 3.3.21 so asked Council when the repairs would be actioned. No reply. On the 30.3.21 a man arrived to take down the barriers. He was told that as the hole and kerb stone had not been repaired taking down the barriers would cause more of a hazard. The barriers were left in place. Rang the Council on 31.3.21 to find out when the hole would be filled in and kerb stone fixed. Very unhelpful call to a person who had no grasp of the problem and had no idea whether any action would be taken by the Council. Will ring again if the problem is not fixed in a couple of weeks.
