Holes in the road

The holes in the tarmac are on the left hand side of the carriageway that is in the direction towards the roundabout and is causing traffic to swerve towards oncoming traffic from the other direction. The problem holes have been getting progressively worse for two weeks now.

One of the holes was repaired and the other which was surrounding a metal plate within 5 or 6metres of it was left unrepaired.
