Wheelie bins left on path

Reported via iOS in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 10:51, Sunday 14 February 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley 1 day, 2 hours, 7 minutes later

I contacted you maybe 2 possibly 3 weeks ago about wheelie bins being left PERMANENTLY on the public footpath, one house No 25 leave out about 6 bins all the time , why they need 6 wheelie bins is a mystery being as only 3 people live there, and No 23 leave out about 5 bins. This is not occasionally this is their permanent position, both have gardens to keep them in the same as everyone else. If we are now allowed to keep these unsightly bins on the path and not in our gardens then please let me know. If in fact we have to keep them in our gardens then can someone please speak to the residents of No23 and No25

  • These bins have been out nearly 2 years, it’s an eyesore, everyone keeps their bins in their gardens, these are both families of young people who are capable of putting their bins out weekly but prefer to keep them on the path causing an obstruction. House numbers 23 and 25 Chipstead Road. If Bexley council have changed their policy and we longer have to keep them in our gardens please can Bexley council let the residents know. If Bexley council want us to keep them in our gardens then for the 3rd time of reporting, please tell them to stick them in their gardens as we all do. Please pass this onto Bexley council
