Hi,
We are also having the same issue at 145 Westwood lane, we recently moved here, and every time the bus goes past the house shakes sometimes gently sometimes very strongly.
Its causing all sorts of cracking inside the house. There has been cracks on the outside which we now think are related to this.

156 Westwood Lane - my house shakes when a bus goes pass, this is very concerning, it is a very hard shake when a bus goes past and my house is not built to withstand this kind of vibration. This has been going on for some time and needs to be investigated urgently, before any serious structural damage is caused. I’m ready seeing creaks appearing. can you provide me with any reassurance that my house is safe to live in?
Also there is a loose manhole cover outside 154 Westwood lane which is moving every time a vehicle goes over it. It is very noisy during the night and could collapse if it is not fixed urgently.

The man hole cover is becoming louder, which indicates its getting worse, and if its collapses could cause a very serious accident. Buses use this road and they hit the cover every time they pass. You are putting members of the public on buses, where they are not strapped in at risk of serious injury by allowing this manhole to get worse along with other people in their vehicle. You were been informed about this nearly a month ago, yet no action has been taken. It needs serious attention by your department, before some gets hurt.

I live at 158 Westwood Lane and have issues with the buses making my house shake/shudder.I have noticed hairline cracks that have appeared in ceilings I the last 6 months. The noise of traffic going over the loose manhole covers is keeping us awake and causing great anxiety. Surely it is not right for houses to shake like this when buses pass and it’s causing great concern. Could someone please do something about this as the loose and sunken manhole cover that is getting worse could cause a road traffic accident.

The loose manhole cover is causing us distress due to interrupted sleep due to the continues loud rattle of the loose cover when traffic hits it. The tarmac is braking up and large pieces are being flicked up on my drive. This is of serious concern as a piece could flick up and hit anyone in the vicinity, also my cars are at risk of damage due to flying Tarmac. This has been report some time ago, and I’ve also called the council and nothing is being done. Does anyone from the council read these reports as there are no update?

We noticed that there was an attempt to fix this. However the rattling of the house is back.
Please can you find a more permanent fix to this issue?
