Lack of street cleaning in general on Hoddesdon Road
Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 10:41, Tue 2 February 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2518471.
2 tires & a bag of food waste was left in front of garages overnight (it's reported separately by someone else) and within days the rubbish from the black bag was spread around the street probably by foxes and was left there for days. I ended up cleaning up the street myself because it was absolutely unbearable to look at. Conclusion is, there aren't sufficient number of street cleaners around this area - in fact I never saw anyone in Hoddesdon Rd. so far (elsewhere there are members of the council cleaning streets daily). The Timber Merchant;s visitors as well as other fly-tippers constantly leave the street full of litter and rubbish and it's terrible to look at, very tiring that it's always I who clean that up (and put it in my own bin) and most importantly unhealthy on a long run. Please arrange regular (ideally daily) street cleaner on Hoddesdon Rd. Would also be nice to implement a CCTV on the street to finally catch regular fly-tippers.
