Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 13:37, Sunday 31 January 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

It would appear that waste (oil) has been tipped onto the roadway / into the gutter. The oil has flowed down the road for 50-70 meters leaving a foul mess on the road and gutters which is being spread across the footpath as residents enter their driveways.

  • The rain of recent days has spread the oil further and has made both the road and the footpaths slippery and treacherous. Undoubtedly oil has been washed into the rainwater roadside drains.

  • The remains of the oil is still in evidence throughout the length of the road. The probable source vehicle, a large silver van, is still parked at the source of the slick.
