BMX track

Reported via desktop in the General Enquiry/Complaints category anonymously at 13:26, Sunday 31 January 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

On Sunday 31st January 2021 we were disturbed by very loud Rap music being played in the park at the back of my bungalow. Upon investigation I discovered that there was a very large number of all age groups riding bikes and scooters in the BMX area apparantly unsupervised. They were not complying with social distancing and somebody was playing the Rap music extremely loud.

  • This morning the fence around the new bike ramp area has again been damaged to allow people inside. Various groups included older teenagers with bicycles as well as family groups, most ignoring social distancing. There was also a motorbike parked on the pathway adjacent to fencing. At the beginning of last week I noticed a tree trunk propped up against the fencing which hadn’t been there the day before (possibly used to damage the fencing), as well as fence posts uprooted from the area damaged by the construction vehicles during building works.

  • On Sunday 21st February there were a lot of people using the BMX track. The fence appeared to have been cut. There was no social distancing. Surely the Police should have knowledge of what is going on.
