Huge muddy bog where grass worn away

Good evening

I am writing regarding the Five Arches park (Foots Cray Meadows). There is a huge area of the park which runs adjacent to the Royal Park school which has turned into a muddy bog. It is nearly impossible to walk across it. In the summer, it was apparent that the grass had completely worn away, and now that we are in the winter, it has turned into a bog. Will the grass be re seeded in the spring?
