Drain cover has collapsed. THIS HAS NOT BEEN FIXED!!

Reported via desktop in the Damaged road category anonymously at 09:38, Saturday 16 January 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2481365.

This has been reported before and you have told me it’s fixed. It isn’t. Putting 2 traffic cones over the collapsed drain is not fixing it. This is dangerous. I nearly broke my van wheel when I went into the hole as the cones had been removed. Fix it properly before somebody gets hurt.

  • Drain cover has collapsed. THIS HAS NOT BEEN FIXED!! It was first reported to Bexley Council on 16 January 2021. Do you have to wait until somebody gets hurt or a claim for damage to a wheel/tyre of a vehicle before any thing gets done to repair the seriously damaged/collapsed drain cover.!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This damaged drain cover has still NOT been fixed. First reported in January. Absolute disgrace. It’s on a bus route , so I would have thought that it should be on high priority list to repair before somebody gets hurt.

  • I'm lost as to what to do. Despite reporting the danger of this issue back in January the council still haven't taken any action. Please give our residents some idea as to what you are going to do. This site is called 'Fix My Street'. So when people report this, we expect it to be fixed. Just reporting it every month isn't working so what to I have to do? Please advise.
