Several lengths of pedestrian guardrails badly damaged

Reported via desktop in the Damage to pedestrian guardrail category anonymously at 16:00, Saturday 2 January 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2457645.

About 12 lengths of pedestrian guardrails are completely flattened and smashed and need urgent replacement. This was reported over a year ago in dec 2019 and continual chasing and re reporting and completing the fix my street questionnaires and still no response . Utterly disgraceful that you are now refusing to fix this safety issue. 5his is also the case in walnut tree road around the corner with a few more lengths which again has been previously reported and ignored. Why are you refusing to fix this area. Chevron signs actually on the roundabout are also smashed down and yet again this was reported and logged and you are not fixing this either.

  • Yet again after over a year of filling in questionnaires and self reporting on line, this is being ignored and seemingly being refused to be fixed. This roundabout is the entry to the town and first impressions are all the barriers are smashed, signs on the roundabout smashed, litter around and on the roundabout and kerbs is atrocious with debris absolutely everywhere. Total disgrace.
