The Dyke in Fendyke rd has not been cleared
Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category by Raymond Arnold at 15:01, Fri 1 January 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley 20 hours, 4 minutes later. Report ref: 2456327.
There should be twice yearly account to clear the vegetation growing in the Dyke in Fendyke rd. This is to ensure the free flow of surface water under the adjacent railway. This has flooded in the past which has also caused flooding to our driveway to the rear of our properties. While this Dyke was being used by Balfour Beaty for access to rebuild the railway the contract was I presume cancelled. Since the land was handed back to Bexley Borough aproximately two years go it has not once been cleared. The Dyke on the southern side of the road has recently been cleared but obviously they have not been instructed to clear the North side of the road.
