Dumping of rubbish at rear of 469 Abbey Rd
Reported via desktop in the Garage areas category anonymously at 15:26, Thu 31 December 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2455423.
Today 31st December 2020 house no 469 Abbey Rd has had a large amount of rubbish including mattresses dumped to the rear of the property in the shared access road. It might be coincidence but this property has recently had new occupiers. Unfortunately, it seems as with a number of outgoing/incoming tenants of Abbey Rd, Fendyke Rd & Fossington Rd their first action is to dump rubbish (see attached photos) in the rear access road to the garages. Please can you take action and remind them that fly tipping is against the law. There are waste disposal sites that they should use like most of us do. This is unsightly and causes obstruction when using the main purpose of vehicular access. As previously mentioned the dumping of old mattresses/beds encourages vermin to take residence within and there has been some instances recently of rats seen in the proximity.
