Overgrown Weeds

Resident states via Customer Service Email:I regularly use the cut-through pathway leading from Partridge Road to Northcote Road in Sidcup and will sometimes cut back some of the greenery that obstructs the pathway, but have been unable to do too much there lately as the greenery has just become too much. There is also a tree that is overhanging on the pathway and I am concerned that with some strong winds, this may fall and cause a hazard for anyone that walks that way (many commuters, cyclists, dog walkers and residents use this path). I'd like to enquire as to whom is responsible for the maintenance of the greenery as it is on public land and whilst I don't normally mind doing the odd bit of maintenance, it is now too much work to do. This pathway is incredibly useful for residents nearby in accessing the supermarket so we really do appreciate having the pathway there. Could I also query as to how we would go about requesting a dog waste bin for that pathway please, as a resident nearby has kindly placed their general waste bin in the alleyway for dog owners to use but it would be far easier to have a dog bin and a general waste bin to avoid the mess that is sometimes left by a few passers by.
Thank you.
