General amount of litter on the streets.
Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 17:01, Sun 29 November 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2410501.
Is the council planning to anything about the amount of litter on the boroughs streets? Some of the streets are embarrassing to walk along. We're encourage to take walks during the pandemic but all you see is litter all over the place. Area Blendon/Penhill/Blackfen. It's been like this for ages. Why not start an initiative that makes people responsible for the bit of the street outside their property? Why not start an awareness initiative in schools. It's not just children dropping litter but maybe they could embarrass their parents into doing something about it if you make them aware that it's THEIR environment that they are trashing.
