Lack of Street lighting

There is no street lighting from door number 88 Park Mead to 94 Park Mead and also from door number 73 Park Mead to door number 68. I feel fearful walking through this part of the street at sunset and also this poses a massive slip/ trip and fall issue not to mention the encouragement of street crime. Please investigate this asap. ]

Also, can street lighting be installed through the alleyway from Rochester Close which leads to the end of Ramillies Road? This urgently needs lighting.

  • The Deputy Highway Manager has now visited site and can confirm that lighting levels are acceptable in Rochester Close. No funding is available for the installation of lighting in the alley way. Park Mead o/s 85 is currently being repaired by Thames Water we will install a column once works are completed
