Abandoned Black Taxi
Reported via desktop in the Abandoned and untaxed vehicles category anonymously at 10:35, Wednesday 11 November 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later
A Black Taxi Registration number LR11 TLV (may be false plates) has been left abandoned in our close since 8th October. It now has numerous parking tickets on it and although I have reported this previously to Fix my street, The london black taxi organisation, posted pic on facebook and the police have visited and are aware it is still there.
It is parked awkward across the pavement blocking the path for pushchairs and wheel chair users meaning they have to walk in the road.
After I reported this previously the case was closed saying no further action please can you explain why this was closed and the cab has not been removed? 2 weeks prior the the Black cab being left their a silver honda was dumped in exactly the same place and this was removed within 3 weeks of reporting. It seems to be someone stealing cars and leaving them in the same place, so a repeat offender. The cab has empty takeaway food cartons on the dashboard which I am sure would not be something a black cab driver would do and surely someone is missing this cab as it would be their livelihood I would appreciate something being done about it please.
Many thanks Dawn
This is still unresolved
