Fly tipping in the road
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 09:49, Tue 10 November 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2379988.
Dear Sir/madam On my drive to work I travel down Ray lambs way and the fly tipping is getting out of hand it used to be just on the sides of the road but now its being dumped in the middle of the road and cars and lorrys are now having to stop 100 yards from the passing points and in some areas you can safely pass. It stretches for the bend all the way to alsford timber i can try and take photos if I can do it safely if you require. but this is going to cause a accident as I've seen people walking up and down and they can no longer walk at the side of the road. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help

It been a month since I posted this and there has been more dumped and nothing taken. I've attached screenshots from Google but its gotten worse since I don't know when it was last updated. This morning on my way to work I saw someone having to climb over the rubbish since there is no where safe to walk with the amount of cars vans and lorrys driving up and down the road this is going to cause a accident as there is no street lights if a pedestrian trips and a vehicle doesn't see them they could get ran over

2 month update the only thing that has changed is more has been added no sign of the council to even try to make a difference. I understand that covid has is a problem at the moment but there is alot of businesses that are still working and this the only way in and out. I think this is a disgusting and disappointing response from the council i feel like they don't care because the general population won't see it as they have no need to go down this road but it doesn't mean that hundreds of people use tbis road daily.

Today i received a email saying "An order has gone out for Council’s contractors to attend and clear any fly tipping on the carriageway only. The banks and streams are maintained by the Environment Agency and they are aware of the fly tipping." But unfortunately the problem has got much worse
