Dog poo bags

Reported via Android in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 09:22, Fri 6 November 2020

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

I have reported this corner before thinking it was foxes but i see now, it is a person doing this, nicely scattering the poo bags and any other rubbish he can find. Is this person known to the council? Nevertheless it need to be cleaned unfortunately.

  • This is a continuing problem with this bin. It’s an absolute health hazard, rubbish and poo bags all over the pavement at a main crossing point for school children. Either regularly inspect this bin or remove it altogether. Residents are sick of reporting this pretty much weekly

  • The area has still not been cleared. Please can someone arrange for it to happen. This is a very busy corner at school time for students using Upton Primary and Townley Grammar

  • Despite this being cleared earlier this week, there is currently (Friday 13 November) 15 bags of dog poo on the floor next to the bin. Someone is clearly removing them on purpose - surely this is an offence? Please can enforcement be arranged?

  • Can someone confirm whether this bin has been dismantled by the council or has someone stolen the top part of the bin? There are dog waste bags strewn on pavement with the base still intact. Looks terrible. If it has been removed, can someone remove the entire thing and clean the bags away? Thank you.
