The pedestrian pavements at The Oval are not swept

Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 07:44, Fri 6 November 2020

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

The pavements are not swept by the current operative despite raising this to him. The leaves are H&S slip hazard and continual risk to the members of the public. we have mentioned it to the operative that he should sweep out to the road and for his machine to suck up but this has fallen on deaf ears. Please arrange for this to be swept ASAP before we take further action.

  • Still requires on a regular basis for pavements to be swept. the current has only swept the pavements a couple times of the last 4 weeks. The serco operative also does not have the sweeping vehicle machine on a daily basis to suck up the leaves in the road. The serco operative said ' the company has a shortage due to current vehicles broken down'.
