Cones on road o/s 7 Freta Rd B'Heath
Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 08:34, Mon 5 October 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2325385.
To whom it may concern,
Please be advised that on 7 Freta road, Bexleyheath, DA6 8NY my neighbours have reserved/obstructed public parking by putting the conus on parking space. They have placed the conus directly on parking space since 27th of September 2020 and occasionally remove it to let their friends park their car and once they leave they put the conus back so no one else can park there.
There is already very limited parking on Freta road, and now very often I am unable to find the parking space for my car. I live in a house opposite theirs and like to park my car where I can see it. Especially because recently i noticed that there is damage to my car door because someone has tried to break into my car.
I find this to be very rude, disrespectful and selfish to obstruct the parking space. This is public parking space and not their private parking. They have their own off road parking for two cars by the house where they keep their cars.

To be fair - they are my neighbours and due to some senseless person who parked there is a huge van obstructing both driveways they don’t really have much choice! You would think people would be more thoughtful rather than blocking families in

Last time I looked there wasn’t a number 7 Freta Road
Parking has always been a problem down Freta Road - people are forever parking over resident’s drives and their dropped kerbs. Maybe you should have more respect and consideration for your neighbours.
