Growth around base now extensive enough to partially block views for vehicles leaving nearby houses.
Reported in the Street category anonymously at 10:59, Sat 19 September 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2302071.
For the first time in many years the base growth around this tree, located in front of 37/39 was not cut back early in the year and the extensive growth is now high enough and wide enough to obstruct views at drivers level when exiting nearby properties. This is a safety issue as many have to reverse into the road. As growth continues, the problem will increase as it will soon encroach on the pavement. Traffic is fast moving and cyclists and powered scooters on the pavement approaching from the Sidcup direction are an additional hazard .

Nothing done by Council but Nature has intervened and the annual leaf fall now in progress is partially easing the problem.
