  • Well it seems that the council have been round to take a look as they have also dumped a blue serco bag in-front of the mattress and the chair. Bexley Council can you please advise why it take 3 weeks to get rid of this rubbish?

  • The mattress has now fallen over onto the pavement. It is soaking wet and a complete hazard. Let’s just hope for your sake a blind or elderly person doesn’t trip over it and hurt themselves. Why is it taking so long to get rid of it. This road is turning into a fly tippers paradise

  • I know the council will stress COVID is delaying things like this, but it didn’t delay the parking enforcement officers patrolling the street the other day looking for fines... shall we stop paying council tax until you have sorted this issue?? It is a health hazard and eyesore

  • Well at least the mattress seems to have gone! For some reason the chair remains??! I also emailed last night in addition to fixmyst and got a polite response this morning saying it would be dealt with and low and behold the mattress has now disappeared. Maybe the council are overwhelmed by hence the delay?
