Large trees on bank of Shuttle by 57 Bridgen Rd

Reported in the Park / Open space category anonymously at 16:57, Tue 18 August 2020

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

There is a group of trees on the bank of the River Shuttle by Gads Bridge, beside 57 Bridgen Road. Although lovely trees, over years, two have grown to be overhanging the house. Also they now envelope the BT telephone cable which crosses the road overhead. In the wind the tree now pulls the cable. If the branches come down they will damage the house. Leaf/twig etc. drop blocks gutters. Trees need pruning please to avoid potential damage and loss of telephone/broadband.

  • 15/09: It would be good to get an update as to when you’ll get to look at this. Alternatively, can you let me know who to send the invoice to in the council for getting gutters cleared when the leaves drop.
