"Replaced pieces of kerbstone"
Reported in the Damage to kerb category anonymously at 14:08, Sat 1 August 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2226045.
I have been sent a fixmystreet notice to say that no further action is required regarding the kerbstone outside No.53 Cold Blow Crescent. The broken pieces have been reinstated using some tarmac. Do you rely on your Contractor to tell you that the work is complete? The work is shoddy at best and I assumed it was a temporary repair. Does any Council worker actually inspect and approve the work? I would be only too happy to meet someone from the Council, on site, to discuss the work.

This kerbstone has been "fixed" on several occasions but has not & will not solve the problems of vehicles reversing into the cul de sac and driving over the kerb causing more damage and a trip hazard for the elderely. can I suggest you consider a sloping kerb with access for the disabled instead of this ongoing waste of money?
