Being a very small close of only 6 houses 4 of which have small children that like to play outside. Unfortunately this has become extremely dangerous due to the poor condition of the road and pavements. There are a number of potholes in the road and spots where old cobble stones are showing through on the road and pavements. Please can we have the road and pavement resurfaced.

The green marked up area, has been deteriorating rapidly over the past couple of weeks, and is directly in the path of tyres. There are a number of other potholes in the road too through to expose the concrete base. The footpath in areas on crossovers breaking away and presents a trip hazard.

  • I am also a resident in this road and I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the constant damage to the road surface. This has caused damage to two of my tyres in recent weeks and has been an ongoing issue for a couple of years now with repairs not lasting or being good enough to last. Please can serious consideration be given to resurface the whole road as surely this would be more cost effective than the repeat visits to repair temporarily !? Any further damage to my tyres I will be looking to claim back the cost of replacements from Bexley council in the future as this is unacceptable. Please can the local residents get a response to the issue raised as this has been reported earlier in the year with no response for months and again ongoing for a few years now. Thanks

  • No response to this query!!

Road is worsening by the day, lots of loose asphalt breaking up and increaseing holes in the road that you cannot avoid when driving, as it is only a narrow road. pavement in patches also degraded with potential trip hazards
