Paving is cracking and sinking up to three inches
Reported in the Damaged pavement category anonymously at 13:14, Tue 30 June 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2179378.
The paving is cracking and sinking up to three inches by my drive at 49 Maxwell Road. A manhole cover outside 51 is now raised as the paving has sunk. The kerbstone is also sticking up as the paving has sunk. Most of the paving between our houses is cracked and I’m worried it is all going to sink. There are lots of children going up and down the road each day as there is Hook Lane school at the bottom of the road. I’m worried that someone is going to trip and fall,

Three months have passed and still nothing has been done. I have seen people trip over the 3” deep hole and tell me I have to report it - which I have done. There are more children and parents coming up and down the road now school is back to normal - someone is going to seriously sprain or break their ankle if nothing is done to fix this awful bit of paving.
