Overgrown and rampant ivy and brambles destroying my fence
Reported in the Shrubs and Hedge category anonymously at 00:01, Sat 6 June 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2143345.
I reported this issue to yourselves last year with no response. Last year I myself had to cut back a huge amount of ivy and brambles which were destroying my fence causing even more damage and injuring myself in the process. I now have a problem with foxes entering my garden through the gaps caused by these vigorous plants/weeds and terrorising my dogs. The images I have attached show the growth at present. In a few weeks my fence will be totally engulfed by these weeds. Please may I request to have them removed. I am also requesting to have my fence either renewed or repaired due to the damage caused. I understand that some issues you receive may not be a priority due to the current circumstances - Covid 19, but I initially reported this issue in 2019 and nothing was done about it. I'd also just like to thank you for planting all the lovely new trees in Barnehurst Open Space, they look amazing! Hope to hear back from yourselves soon.
