Tree roots are lifting my block paving, get worse, also damaging public highway..

This tree has grown a large amount in the last couple of years, since it was last cut back in 2018, I have noticed in this time that my block paving has been lifting and getting progressively worse, as the tree is so large and so close to my property, I can only assume it is the roots causing the damage. There is also damage on the public path too.
