Trees/Shrubs causing dangerous obstruction on bridleway
Reported in the Park / Open space category anonymously at 20:46, Sat 29 February 2020
Sent to London Borough of Bexley 4 minutes later. Report ref: 2031254.
Please prune back trees and shrubery on the bridleway which runs alongside the Stable Meadow Sports Ground. Please bear in mind that horses and riders use this bridleway and overhanging branches need to be pruned to provide sufficient headroom for a rider on the back of a horse. Trees and shrubs also need to be cut back so that the bridleway is not obstructed from the sides - this bridleway is already very narrow - the encroaching branches make it very difficult and dangerous for riders, and in some cases horses refuse to squeeze through thus rendering the bridleway impassable. Photos attached of only a couple of examples, but there are at least 5 trees/shrubs along this stretch of bridleway which require pruning. Thank you.
