The Road Engineers don't think it's dangerous enough yet to repair. I definitely think it is, and it should be done immediately !!!

Still open, via questionnaire -
This problem does need attention as motorcyclist cannot see the hazard in the dark (if filtering and observing traffic emerging from Rydal Drive) and could easily loose control and swerve into the oncoming traffic. This is the worse of a series of potholes that are opening up the length of Long Lane from Hythe Road to Hudson Road.

Hi, A number of black bags have been dumped at the end of Rydal drive / junction of long lane. these have been opened by foxes and are a bit of a health hazard / litter mess. Thanks, Nigel Abel

This pothole was "repaired" by just adding loose material into the hole and tamping down, The hole reappeared after a couple of weeks, despite the much reduced traffic due to Lockdown! It must be repaired properly before there is a serious injury there.
