White residue

Over a week ago Conway repaired the paving at the junction of Beverley Road and Westfield Road. During that work they let a stream of contaminated water flow down the road to the nearest drain. That has left a white residue that is unsightly, covers the yellow line and I suspect deposited a large amount of debris in the drain. In the last week we have had heavy rain but it has made no difference. Please can you arrange for it to be cleaned up.

Please also be aware that the grass verge has not been repaired by conway. Instead they have filled it in with left over concrete . Perhaps they should be reminded that grass will not grow in concrete. Systematically the councils contractors are destroying the grass verges

Two weeks later and still the same. The heavy rain has not removed the mess left by Conway

Someone has filled the verge in with earth so at least the grass may have a chance to recover but even though we have had loads of heavy rain the white residue remains in place on the road. It is very worrying that the council actually pay Conway to make such a mess.

The road surface has remained badly marked by the work done by Conway. Road sweeping machines and lots of rain have not removed it. So it looks like it will remain until some stage when the road is resurfaced. Nice one Conway.
