I first reported the problem last year summer and it did not get resolved. The field got caught on fire last year, no reports where made on how this happened, however, it resulted to the grass being destroyed so technically the issue was solved, but not properly by the council or the contractor. I made a complaint and it wasn’t dealt with. In regards to my complaint this year that I made a month ago now, the issue has still not been resolved. I called twice to the Bexley council and the same lady I spoke to the first time told me I would get email updated which I have been getting. The lash update was a couple of week ago saying it has been passed onto the contractor, however, nothing has been done and the issue hasn’t been dealt with. It’s absolutely ridiculous that we are having to live in an area with these conditions and that the field can’t even be maintained during the summer. The field is far too over grown, the path way is covered by over grown grass, weeds and stinging nettles which is dangerous. People can’t even go out and walk there dogs anymore and the path through the field isn’t even visible. There is an actual pathway along the side of the field between two bits of grass and bushes are taking over the pathway that also need to be cut down/trimmed. I will be making another complaint today and see what it happened and would like this issue to be marked down as urgent and have this sort within the next week as I don’t understand why it takes a whole month. With the nice weather the field had overgrown and no one is doing anything about it.
