Abandoned car which is no longer roadworthy

Reported via desktop in the Abandoned and untaxed vehicles category anonymously at 14:29, Monday 14 September 2026

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 10095983.

The car was left on Harcourt Avenue, near the Penhill Road junction, just after 8am on Sunday 13 September. It appears to have been involved in an accident elsewhere and the driver attempted to drive the car until the tyres deflated and shredded. The front driver-side wheel has no tyre and the tyre on the offside is shredded but remains on the wheel rim. The wheels appear to be damaged due to car having been driven with tyres deflated. The driver quickly walked away from the car towards Penhill Road without checking the damage.
