Martens grove playground needs updating

Martens grove playground is very old and rusty, almost every piece of equipment is broken and rather unsafe. For example, the bridge on the climbing frame had no bars on either side anymore, the zip line is damaged, the merry go round is old and rusty and does not move fluidly, older children also come into the playground and stand on the swings, breaking them. I propose having this playground entirely updated with new features and perhaps more natural elements similar to playgrounds in other boroughs who have wooden climbing frames, sand pits etc. it would likely need regular maintaining to ensure quality and would need a new area for older kids with signs to keep the out of junior areas. The park is otherwise beautiful and well maintained, I feel that this playground has been neglected and forgotten about. There are not many other playgrounds around this area and this place is always busy. Perhaps consider updating and building more playgrounds in the borough also.
