Road is very narrow

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the condition and width of the road in our area.

As shown in the attached photographs, the road is extremely narrow, particularly towards the top, and this is making it very difficult for vehicles to pass safely. I am regularly being forced to drive onto the kerb in order to get through, which is causing damage to my van and potentially other vehicles as well.

This is not only an inconvenience or a vehicle damage issue; I am extremely concerned about the potential impact on emergency services. If there were to be a fire, or if a resident became seriously ill and required an ambulance, I am worried that emergency vehicles may not be able to access the properties at the top of the road due to the restricted space and parked vehicles.

This could potentially result in a serious delay in an emergency, which is a major concern for the safety of everyone living in the area.

I would therefore ask that the road and parking situation be urgently assessed to determine whether measures can be put in place to improve access. This could include reviewing parking restrictions, introducing appropriate markings, or considering any other measures necessary to ensure that emergency vehicles can safely reach all properties.

I have attached photographs to demonstrate the problem and the limited space available.

I would appreciate it if this matter could be investigated as soon as possible and if you could advise what action can be taken.
