Poor and broken lighting making it unsafe late at night, especially for women walking alone. Reported anonymously at 15:59, Mon 22 November 2021 Of the 4 street lights on the foot path from York Avenue to the footbridge, the 2 in the middle need attention. 1 of them has not been working for months and the other is covered by a tree, so it provides inadequate light. There is also no light on the actual bridge crossing. With the current national crisis of women feeling unsafe walking alone at night, this particular path are crossing requires immediate attention. Many of the female residents around York Avenue refuse to use this path and crossing, this is made worse by the longer winter nights now.
