Road barrier too small to allow bicycles free access.

Reported anonymously at 21:58, Mon 19 July 2021

On the cycle route that is Robin hood lane a barrier has been erected, presumably to prevent motorcyclists using the route. The barrier used used is woeful and dangerous to both cyclist and machine. Presumably the designer had never seen a bicycle. To get my standard Scott bike through I need dismount, remove any luggage / panniers and then lift the rear of the bike else the rack fouls on the restrictive prongs at wheel hub level. I cannot see this barrier as anything other than a device which prevents cyclists using the route, something which goes against government, TFL and council decisions. Please have this appallingly designed barrier removed and something suitable put in its place. Thank you, a very disgruntled cyclist.
