Overhanging Car Parked

Reported anonymously at 08:47, Sunday 9 May 2021

This is an ongoing issue with a white BMW car parked on driveway at number 37 Grosvenor Road, Bexleyheath . Due to me having putting myself and my dog in danger as we had to walk into the road as the car parked at number 37 Grosvenor Road once again my dog panicked as a lorry drove passed and nearly resulted in my dog being run over. This is ongoing problem and the car has gradually increased the amount of pathway used rather than being parked correctly on the owners drive. I am aware that due to one resident has now been authorised at number 47 Grosvenor Road to have a double kerb dropped to allow two cars parked on the residence drive but unfortunately this has resulted in a parking space removed in a very limited parking area of Grosvenor Road. Half of the white box has been removed but it still allows parking with all four wheels on the road to be administered. I am not sure if this issue was though of. The other issue with parking is outside number 53 Grosvenor Road, Bexleyheath as this is not a white box area as the space is too small and no yellow lines are placed on the bend. Bad parking results in lorries and larger vans, rubbish trucks having big issues coming round the bend. If a fire engine were to come along they would not be able to turn on occasions when bad parking has been made. At present parking is a big issue and access to the pathways in Grosvenor Road, Bexleyheath. If the council could address these issues it would be very helpful. Thank you.
