Extremely dangerous tree

Reported anonymously at 12:49, Tue 4 May 2021

The tree has been reported by so many residents of our Avenue over the past few years. The tree has never been pruned. Someone from the council turns up and thinks it’s not a problem and thinks the two branches that were cut back last year after the bulk of them dropped on people’s cars is somehow evidence of recent pruning. And he also says ‘no’ we can’t pay for it to be pruned either. So we just have to live in danger year after year, of the branches falling off and hitting some one? Why do we not get a say in what happens in our own road? I’ll even pay to get it pruned or cut back to a reasonable height. I hate the fact that some bloke thinks that the current environmental issue is a reason to leave us with a dangerous tree! Unbelievable. If anyone is hurt as a result of this tree the blame is entirely in the councils hands and the person who came to decree that it won’t be made safe either will be morally culpable.
