Trees on highway behind elstree gardens still require significant cutting back

Reported anonymously at 14:15, Mon 5 April 2021

The trees from the lesnes abbey wood that border the road behind our gardens on Elstree Gardens are still in need of being cut back. They've not been done for a number of years now and they are overhanging into our garden and over our greenhouse and shed by 4metres. Some branches are now in contact with our fence and will start to cause damage. We cannot cut back the trees as they're on the protected woodland. I reported this last year on this site but nothing appears to have been done, I cannot find the report on this site so it has been cleared without action. The trees are beautiful but are in desperate need of some management to avoid falling into gardens/damaging property. They're also likely blocking they way for people who drive on this road to access their garages at the rear of their property.
