Broken railing is causing a cut through that is being used for drug deals

Reported anonymously at 19:14, Saturday 3 April 2021

A broken railings that seperates Parish Gate Drive and the the estate on the next road, is broken. It is next to a piece of land that is often used for fly tipping. Residents of the estate next door are seen multiple times a day using it as a cut through which has caused injury but also, it's being used individuals to meet drug dealers. The drug dealers pull up into the bay next to it, people get through the gap in the fence and buy drugs from the waiting car. If the fence was fixed, it would illeviate this problem as its a 5-10 minute walk without the cut through of the broken fence. This has of course been reported to the police. We know its drugs because we hear the groups talk about it. Whilst the fence is broken, people also congregate (teenagers and young men) from the estate through the gap and cause anti social behaviour. The building managers of the blocks of flats on Parish Gate Drive, Amex estates, have confirmed that the fence and railing is owned by the council.
