Pavement in poor condition Reported anonymously at 17:37, Tue 9 March 2021 Two or three parallel trenches were dug along most of the length of the west pavement of B253 Picardy Manorway some time ago possibly at different times. In places, the surface has subsided leaving long ruts and there is some crumbling. This is worst at north end where depressions are up to 7cm deep. There are unkempt trees and undergrowth at the side of and overhanging the pavement. There is an enhanced risk of a slip trip injury here particularly at night, when the pavement is poorly lit. This is the only north-south pedestrian route on the east side of the new flats and is heavily used by residents and those working on the industrial estate to the north. The parallel route on the west side of same flats is little better because it remains unlit.
