Fence to Car Park (Wilton Road) Broken Down Reported anonymously at 13:12, Tue 9 February 2021 At Christmas 2019 there was an issue with an illegal encampment in the car park area under Harrow Manorway which is part of the parking for Abbey Wood Station where they broke down the fencing and then moved in a couple of days later. The fencing has once again been broken down and a temporary fix was put in place, but this has now been removed as well. Today I saw someone pass by twice on a quad bike and look at the gap in the fence which is usually the outrider who ensures the way ahead is free before the caravans arrive; if the fence is fixed as a matter of urgency, it will avoid any potential high costs involved with eviction and removing all the rubbish which was left behind previously, which took quite some time to resolve and also any intimidation for local residents needing to pass by the area - urgent securing of the fence will ensure this cannot happen
